“If such a thing as a California Action Sports Hall of Fame existed, Chuck Patterson would win unanimous induction on the first ballot.” – California’s Adventure Sports Journal .
Unlike some athletes who excel at one sport, Chuck does it all. A master of seven disciplines – skiing, snowboarding, stand up paddle, big wave surfing, kiteboarding, windsurfing and hydro foiling. Patterson has been charging mountains and chasing waves as a full time sponsored athlete and stuntman for more than 25 years.
A self-proclaimed addict to anything made of snow or water, Chuck constantly pushes the boundaries on what’s possible – from setting a world record jumping a 142’ ft cliff on skis in Lake Tahoe, CA to dropping into Hawaii’s 60ft waves on snow skis at world famous “Jaws, Maui” to riding Mavericks, Cortez Banks and Teahupoo Tahiti on his surfboard and SUP to paddling with great white sharks off the coast of California.
Beginning his passion for sports at the ripe age of two and a half years old, Chuck is a jack-of-all-trades waterman; a connoisseur of big mountain adventure. He’s also passionate about Inspiring and giving back. He’s actively involved as a volunteer and ambassador for both Miracle for Kids, Best Day Foundation And Thera Surf which allow him to work and inspire kids with illnesses and special needs through Water and snow.
